Valor Vacations® USA is a program of Restoration Ranch Colorado, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to supporting the health, healing, and wellbeing of first responders and frontline professionals. We provide discounted vacation stays to vetted individuals and families in professions including:

  • Firefighters and EMS Personnel

  • Emergency Dispatchers

  • Front-line Medical Personnel

  • Park Rangers and Correctional Officers

  • Victims Advocates

  • Coroner Personnel

Each stay offers an opportunity for those who serve in high-stress, high-impact roles to recharge in a safe and welcoming environment.

A Mission Rooted in Gratitude

Valor Vacations® USA was born from personal tragedy and a deep desire to give back. In 2020, founder Kathryn Severns Avery lost her husband, Chris, in a tragic act of violence. The compassion shown by first responders in the aftermath led Kathryn to a life-changing realization and a new mission.

With the help of an inheritance from her father, she founded Restoration Ranch Colorado in 2021, transforming 40 acres into a retreat for those who serve. Since then, her team has expanded the vision with Valor Vacations® USA: a national program that extends the spirit of the ranch through vacation stays across the country.

Every listing, every stay, and every guest is part of a bigger purpose: honoring the people who show up for us in our hardest moments.

Where Gratitude Meets Rest

Valor Vacations® USA was created to honor those who protect and care for our communities by giving them the opportunity to truly rest. When a guest books a Valor stay, their donation supports nonprofit programs serving first responders and frontline professionals through our parent organization, Restoration Ranch Colorado.

Bookings on our platform are exclusively available to verified individuals in eligible professions. To maintain the integrity and safety of the community, access to vacation listings is granted through a secure verification process for approved guests. More details on how to qualify will be available at launch.
